Brake pad test on the Suzuki Bandit 1250

In its February edition MOTORRAD NEWS magazine tested brake disc pads based on braking distance, braking action and value for money. The top performer was the organic brake pads from Lucas with a strong recommendation from the editor at MOTORRAD NEWS. Although organic pads are often seen as too "gentle" Lucas pads performed far better than the more expensive sintered pads. Even though the service life and wet braking were not specifically tested, Lucas organic pads are the best performers in these areas too.
